Streaming May 5th, only on BET+ is “The Porter,” an eight-episode series that follows the journeys of characters who hustle, dream, cross borders and pursue their ambitions in the fight for liberation – on and off the railways that cross North America.
It’s a story of empowerment that highlights the moment when railway workers from both Canada and the United States join together to give birth to the world’s first Black union.
The Porter stars Aml Ameen, Ronnie Rowe Jr., Mouna Traoré, Loren Lott, Olunike Adeliyi, plus series co-creator Arnold Pinnock and Alfre Woodard, who plays Fay and executive produces.
